BOB and SHERI met in 1991 while Bob was searching for the perfect partner to co-host his new morning radio show on WLNK (then WBT-FM). He listened to dozens of resume tapes, but no one stood out. Then, a wisecracking television producer walked into his office. She had wit. She had moxy. She had brains. And she wasn’t looking for the job. Bob convinced her they would make a good team and offered to pay her out of his salary until management saw it too. Within a year, the show was number one with women 25-54 and number two overall in the Charlotte market.

Today, Bob & Sheri is heard on more than 50 affiliates across the U.S. Their spontaneous wit and cutting edge humor strikes a chord with listeners and critics alike. The team has been nominated four times for Billboard’s Air Personality of the Year. In 1998, they won the New York State Broadcasters Association Award for Best Morning Team. Bob & Sheri recently won the prestigious Gracie Award® for Best Talk Show/Radio in 2005. The team has been nominated six times, in 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, for radio’s most prestigious honor – The NAB Marconi Award.
